Contributing to the support of students

It is easy and convenient! Three funds have been established by the Department of Ecology and Evolution to support graduate education.

• The Robert R. Sokal Fund. This is an endowment fund for the support of graduate students working on statistical applications in biology.
• The L. B. Slobodkin Fund. This is an endowment fund to support graduate education. In the past it has often been used to help students present talks at scientific meetings.
• The George Williams Fund for Student Research. This fund for the support of students working in evolutionary biology will be converted to an endowment fund when contributions reach the $10,000 level. Progress chart.

To make a pledge or to contribute to these funds now, you may download one of the contribution forms provided below.

If you use the online form, be sure to indicate our department and the name of the fund you wish to contribute to where it says "School, College, or Program...(specify):" For example, enter "Ecology & Evolution: SBF/G. Williams Fund for Student Research".
