Chris is a Ph.D. student working on the ecological and microevolutionary forces that drive speciation and species richness in Appalachian plethodontid salamanders. She is also interested in integrating evolutionary research and conservation biology.
Chris was an undergraduate at the University of Washington. She started at Stony Brook in 2002 and joined our lab in the spring of 2003.
