Internet access
- The campus wireless network will be available from many
locations on campus.
- It will be available in the main section of the
Wang Center (but not in the lecture halls). It should also be available
on the deck area around the Koi pond.
- It will be available in the lobby area of the Student Activites Center.
- During the conference no userid/password will be required. It will be
an open network with no encryption. You should have firewall and antivirus
software installed on your laptop!
- Wired Internet connections will be available in the dorms and in many
of the rooms in the Wang Center. You will need to provide your own
cable.
- There are many SINC sites on campus where you
will be able to use a desktop computer. A list of locations is available
here (click on individual
sites to obtain information about their location and hours. Briefly,
during the conference they will be open until 6:00pm on Friday, Saturday
10:00
to 5:00, on Sunday only the Engineering site will be open from 2:00
to 8:00, on Monday and Tuesday they resume normal hours with the library
site open until
10:00pm.
Electronics supplies and equipment
- The Seawolves shop in the Student Activities Center sells
some computer-related supplies in case you forget a cable, CDs, etc.
Tee-shirts
In keeping with tradition, four styles of
conference tee-shirts will be available at the meeting.
They can be reserved on the Conference Registration form.
