 Dana Opulente Dana was born in Brooklyn, but grew up in Staten Island, NY. After obtaining her Bachelor's in Biology from Stony Brook University in 2006, she worked for two years at the Brooklyn Veteran Administration Hospital as a Research Assistant in the Cutaia Lab studying apoptosis. Dana is returning to SBU to continue her education as a PhD student. Her interests include evolutionary genomics, population genetics and evolution and its effects on development. |
