General Instructions

Below you will find three kinds of files. Sequence files are the sequences we used for analysis and they are in CLUSTALW format. Distance files are Kimura distances either for proteins (with the exception of alpha and beta hemoglobin, for which we used PAM distances) or nucleotides (in case of 18S rRNA). Divergence Time files are times of fossil divergence. These are for vertebrates in all proteins, but are broken down into three sets of sequences, distances, and divergence time data sets for vertebrates, echinoderms, and mollusks, respectively for 18S rRNA. To view a file, simply click on the highlighted text. To download the file, choose SAVE from the FILE menu.
