- Place: Javits 100, except for sections 3 & 10 which
are in Javits 103
BIO 150 - Grading Policy
You may sign-up for a make-up for Exam 1 OR Exam 2 (NOT BOTH) to replace
your lowest grade (Exam 1 or Exam 2). Your grade for Exam 1 will be
determined by averaging the multiple choice grade with the written grade.
This will also be done for Exam 2. If you take a make-up exam for either
Exam 1 or Exam 2, the multiple choice and written parts will also be
averaged and that grade can replace the original exam score if it is
higher. Sign-up is in CMM/BLL Building, room NG 02.
Summaray
- Exam 1 (average of multiple choice and written) = 25% of lecture grade
- Exam 2 (average of multiple choice and written) = 25% of lecture grade
- Exam 3 = 25% of lecture grade
- Exam 4 = 25% of lecture grade
Exam 1 OR Exam 2 grade can be replaced by a make-up exam for ONLY ONE of
the exams. The grade for the make-up will be determined similarly; by
averaging the multiple choice and the written parts.
The FINAL GRADE in the course will be:
70% = exams 1, 2, 3 and 4
30% = Laboratory Grade
